It Starts with a Symptom Pointing to the Problem in the Abdomen

The diagnostic approach starts with the patients symptoms indicated by the hand pointing to the mid abdomen.
The patient is placed on a monitor in the top right image and after an examination the problem is isolated to the mid abdomen (bottom left image)
Initial treatment requires a nasogastric tube (bottom right).
The many organs of the abdomen come together to build the digestive system and genitourinary system with their connections to the rest of the body via the vascular lymphatic and nervous system. When one hurts it affects all the others.
